TRAINING

After 14 years of training and showing our own Miniature Horses and Shetland Ponies,
we decided to open our doors to outside horses and ponies.

Our methods are an accumulation of years of working with and learning from the
top trainers in the Miniature and Shetland industries. We have taken advice from our mentors
and are always trying to better ourselves.

We are a full service training facility offering training services for
Modern Shetlands, Classic Shetlands, ASPR Show Ponies and
AMHR/AMHA Miniature Horses.
We also show all of these breeds in PINTO.

RATES

	$300.00/month Halter- Miniature Horse or Shetland Pony
	$350.00/month Performance-Miniature Horse or Shetland Pony
	This includes training, customized diets, clipping, grooming, feeding, bedding and light turnout. We work our horses at least five days a week. We use a variety of workouts to keep the horses from getting bored and in the perfect shape.
	Owners are responsible for insurance, vet bills, farrier care and dental work.
	There is a charge each month for supplements. This charge is split up between each client.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

	Daily rate at shows is $25.00 per day. Most shows we attend are 2 days, so that is $50.00. This covers clipping, baths, grooming supplies and actual handling in the show ring. At Nationals, Congress or any other National show this fee changes to $250.00 for entire show.
	Owners are responsible for the actual cost of all the stall fees, entry fees, office fees and bedding at shows.
	Expenses for motel, food, additional labor (groom when needed) and tack stalls are divided equally among the number of horses attending the show.
	Hauling fees are reasonable at $0.35 per mile.
	Cart and harness rental &75.00 per show or $50.00 for cart or harness per show. We encourage owners to send their own cart and harness for their mini or pony.

MARE CARE

Mare care is $4.50 per day, stall or turnout for horses that are here being bred

SALES

A 10% commission is charged on all horses sold by us or that are sold while in training at
Excaliber Training Stable.

Due to rising fuel, feed and equipment cost, all prices are subject to change. We will not change without first discussing changes with clients.
